I like to save a glasses case of quick bread mix on extremity for surprising guests that globule in for drink. I can have a beverage bar willing in 20-minutes or muffins in a flash. One of my favorites is to brand name chicken and dumplings from this mix. Pancakes, waffles, banana tree bread, nut baked goods or a series of doughnuts and biscuits can be made from this mix.
To receive my favorite mix I activity 10-cups of general-purpose foodstuff into a monolithic vessel. To that I add 1/3-cup of baking hot powder, 1/4-cup of sugar, and 1-tablespoon of saline. I mix all of those ingredients extremely resourcefully. Next I index 2-cups of edible fat and cut that in until the merger looks look-alike cornmeal. DO NOT use lard for this because fat requires chilling. Use a seedlike edible fat. I preserve this in a tightly submerged canister up to 6-weeks at freedom heat.
